Tony Tolbert, Los Angeles Lawyer, Gives His House To Homeless Family (VIDEO)

This act of selflessness will help us kick off the new year right and please let this inspire you to do your own act of random kindness in 2013. Tony Talbert a 51 year old man has decided to donate his home for a whole year so a homeless family can live their while he moves in with his parents. He was inspired by his childhood in Los Angles where the spare room frequently went to people in need which inspired this act.

These words remember if you feel like you can’t do the same…Tolbert told CBS in the video above, “You don’t have to be Bill Gates or Warren Buffet or Oprah. We can do it wherever we are, with whatever we have, and for me, I have a home that I can make available.”

Tolbert doesn’t know the recipient a mother of 4 but he found them through Alexandria House a shelter for women and children. Felicia Duke the mother now can reunite her family into one home which was previously impossible since her adult son cold not join them in the shelter because it would have violated the rules. The house will remained fully furnished for the year.

Politicians and the wealthy could learn a lot from simple acts of kindness that inspire others and effect change even the smallest gesture. Let this inspire you to do even the smallest kindness that will mean the world to someone you know or don’t.
